This truck comes equipped with an International T444E Turbo Diesel engine. The engine cranks right up, it idles smoothly, and sounds good. All the gears on the transmission pull good, the truck cruises very comfortably on the highway, and drives straight. An excellent feature on this drive train is the lack of complicated, and temperamental, exhaust systems found on later models! There are NO Particulate Filters, NO Regeneration Cycles, and NO Diesel Exhaust Fluid to deal with! None of that junk! Just a simple, and proven, workhorse of an engine!
Aesthetically, this truck is also in remarkable condition. Straight bodylines, shiny paint, excellent interior, and cold AC! There are no cracks on the windshield, no tears on the bench seat, and all its lighting is operational.
