This truck runs and drives excellent , nothing mechanical is needed after a thorough series of test drives and a brief mechanical inspection. No visible leaks , engine runs great with no odd noises or hesitation. Trans shift right on the mark. This truck flies!! It has a ton of power ! Everything is fully operational or set up to be , insay this because the power and air lines were taken off the the retractable hose reels, so just plug in the new lines and your good to go. Changes in NFPA in 1991 significantly increased fire fighter"s safety when operating a fire truck. Buying a used fire apparatus newer than this year will bring those safety features into your firehouse as well. The enclosed cab which was required in 1991 and forward brought fire fighters out of the elements of weather, and into the safety of the fire apparatus cab.
