What’s wrong with the engine?
Our guy forgot to check the oil and the engine blew a rod. It needs a new engine or to be rebuilt.

The engine does run; the transmission is good.
Is the equipment set up for propane or electric?
All the equipment is set up for propane.
How is the truck powered?
There are two generators: an Onan generator sits under the cabin and a 15000KW generator sit towards the back of the truck. Also, the truck can be run by Shore power lines.
Are the tires and brakes good?
There are new tires all around. The brakes are good.
Can the truck be towed?
Yes, we have used our AAA service to have it towed before. However, we cannot make arrangements for towing services.

We purchased this 1986 Chevrolet Airstream RV 6 years ago and had it converted to a mobile catering kitchen.
AFTER BEING BUILT, IT WAS ONLY USED FOR 5 HOURS TOTAL!
We are feeding families in our communities and have since acquired our own kitchen facilities, so we no longer have need for the catering truck. We had all the work in the truck done professionally—all the equipment installed with labor alone is worth $7,000 in itself. This is a great project for anyone who wants to pick up where we left off, and just be willing to put in a new engine. It has a fairly common engine: 7.4 liter 454 4bbl V-8 7.951 compression ration 80 gas tank. This is a great investment; we just are not willing to invest anymore in it.
