For sale is our 1989 Ford 9000 tandem water tender ( Type 2 ) / water truck. (Vin. 1FDYY90T5KVA59248) This truck has a 3306 B cat engine - 310 hp -with a 9 speed manual transmission and a jake brake. The suspension is Henderickson leaf spring type and there are drop chains on the rear. This truck has 202237 original miles and the engine was has less than 25000 miles on it since it was completely rebuilt by the Missoula Cat dealer. It was a Ryder Rental before being bought by a Missoula rural fire department to build this tender. Ryder Maintenance Records Available. Drives and shifts as it should! As you can see the tires are about 75% and don"t show any checking or cracking. The PTO pump is a Darley Champion HM 500 GPM @ 150 PSI. with a built in pressure relief system and a manifold that discharges on both the left and right. Tank capacity is 2680 gal. and it has two large dumps, one on the left and one on the rear. Spray bars can easily be installed and the front is actually partially plumed already. A rust free truck and the paint is in good condition with only minor dings and scratches. Decals removed from doors may leave a slight outline. Any local buyers may come take a look and test drive.
