About the C60 truck. Info bellow
I believe it is the P20 chassis, I forget. I’ll have to check the vin number. There are allot of new parts that could be used to restore a vintage truck or motor home.
The engine and exhaust would be good for a pre smog vehicle.
It’s been sitting since 2014 Things are dusty and dirty.
I started it a couple weeks ago and it sounds good.
It hasn’t been driven more than 20,000 miles since these things were done to it.
Chevy 350 bored. The Heads, Manifold, Carb, and Advance curve were to get a few more horse power.
The motor had been rebuilt when I got it. I pulled the heads and there was no wear on the cylinders.
New Vortec heads from Summit. I don’t remember the valve sizes.
New Edlebrock Endurashine dual plane intake manifold with a Holey 650, manual choke and Vacuum secondary. I’m going by memory on the carb size.
Has a gas pressure regulation valve. New Edlebrock valve covers. It has a clutch fan that isn’t new.
Sometimes when driving it will stall for a few seconds then bump start and keep going for days or the next day. There is a fuel filter behind the gas tank and it’s about impossible to get to without the correct filter wrench. I’m thinking it hasn’t been changed since 1973 and the filter paper gets in the way of the flow of gas.
The distributor advance curve was set for the GVW of the truck, 15,000 lbs.
Has good quality plug wires, cap and rotor.
New alternator not rebuilt, stock 1973 with small amp output.
Corvette shorty headers, the smog tubes were removed and the holes were welded closed. I think they are from 1997 vet, don’t remember.
Dual exhaust with Flow Master mufflers and another pair of performance mufflers behind the Flow Masters to keep it nice and quiet. It sounds good.
    The driveline was balanced.
New Clutch, Pressure Plate, flywheel and throwout bearing.
    The breaks were gone through.
New shoes on Front, driver and passenger side.
Rear, driver side only, the passenger side were good.
New wheel cylinders, 2 per side on the front, 4 total in front.
1 each side on the rear, 2 total.
The vacuum power break assist was rebuilt.
All new wheel bearings inner and outer.
    Drums were turned.
    Mater cylinder rebuilt.
    Some new break lines.
The front axel is from a newer truck, 1982-1984 ish.
Some unique axel to springs blocks had to be made/used
Replaced the axel to use the newer power steering system with the power steering coming from the power steering box. Fish plates were added to the frame for extra strength. The original system used a hydraulic ram.
    Some new custom break lines.
The axel swap is unconventional, a truck suspension specialist should check it if it’s going to be driven. Specialist, not a mechanic.
    Rebuilt power steering pump.
    Rebuilt steering box.
The radiator was taken apart cleaned and re-soldered.
    That about sums it up.
The truck is a good-sized project it should be transported to get where you want it. The auction is for the crane not the truck but the truck goes with it. Buyer is responsible for vehicle pickup or shipping. The buyer is responsible for transportation of the truck once is off the storage facility Property.
