This is a very nice 2008 F550 Super Duty 4x4,one corporate owner, bucket truck equipped with railgear, brakes & rail sweeps ft & rear, remote pin offs. This was owned by Norfolk Southern Railroad out of Roanoke Va. and will operate and function both on railroad or off. It is equipped with a Dur-A-Lift non insulated, telescopic articulating aerial man lift / material handler. The lift extends to 35 feet from the platform and is rated for 350 pounds. It has a Warn industrial 12 volt 1200 lb hoist mounted to the boom with remote . It has a Muncie transmission mounted PTO, a Knapheid service body, a Redi-Line electric power generator/inverter, remote emergency strobe pack and work lights. Equipped with outriggers. The boom will work off of the generator automatically if engine power fails.
The truck itself is in very good, well maintained condition. The body , frame and bed are very good with no rust as you would expect from a southern vehicle. It runs and drives great and needs nothing. The tires are new or like new. The rail package cost $18,000.00 installed but if you don"t want or need it we can remove it prior to pick up at no charge. It operates fine as is on the road with the rail package but noisy on bumpy roads. We encourage you to come check out the truck before bidding or making an offer or send in an independent inspector.
