1923 Real American LaFrance Small Custom Fire Truck Museum Piece. Came from long term closed down museum in New York. Very simple and complete with all various sizes of brass fire nozzles, no duplicates. Has brass siren, brass spotlight, and other brass items built by American LaFrance. This is one of two that we found that were in existence. It is built on a 1923 Ford Model T chassis. Model T trucks in those days also ran various type farm implements so more than likely any other small Model T Fire Trucks was most likely dismantled and turned into a working truck or farm impalement powered source. Also a good thing about this Fire Truck is it"s able to be maintained or worked on and parts that are readily available and there are many Model T mechanics out there. This Fire Truck was identified and authenticated by a local museum. The value of this truck is not capable of being identified. It could be worth our starting price of 60k or 260k. We do know the Detroit area has a few high end Fire Truck collectors and this will also fit into the Jay Leno collection. There is too much more to say so we will leave it at that. Show car tow vehicle shown will be sold after the Fire Truck is sold. The tow vehicle has only 30 miles on it and will be optional with jet engine which we had on it as a Mild to Wild theme. We find that off loading and moving the Fire Truck onto the parking lot distance to display by towing saves us hours of prepping, draining fuel,, etc. for storage.Fun at car shows and great in parades. We were contacted by one gentleman that his group owns a twin to this Fire Truck and was put on a magazine cover. No details of it having the entire complete set of impossible to find water nozzles He also stated that a similar but not necessarily if it was a complete or a true American LaFrance and sold for $44K. So we feel like with the lack of info and also found it has a magazine cover twin that bidders will feel more comfortable about an investment such as this True Accurate and complete Fire Truck and as you can see in the picture our American LaFrance Registered No. F800 could possibly be in the first series of trucks. There is a finders fee. eBay, you must realize the collectors of this caliper. Jay Leno and the rich boys don"t bother with eBay, I wanted to point that out because I"m from a small town and don"t have a clue where the big boys are at. So this could be an opportunity for those of you that are in the know the chance to double your money. I will also pay a finders fee ($1K or so) if you hook me up. Fire Truck is being sold As-Is, Where-Is. Buyer is responsible for vehicle pick up or shipping. If any questions, feel free to call 409-718-0501. Call after 10 A.M. Central standard time. Happy bidding.
