Wonderful 1924 Ahrens-Fox NS4. This is the big six-cylinder pumper from Ahrens, which was the premier fire apparatus manufacturer back in the day. This truck came from the well-regarded Reliance Fire Museum in Estes Park, Colorado, where it was part of the collection for many years. The truck was originally purchased by the South Saint Paul, MN Fire Department. It now wears Bristol, CT lettering because the original hood was damaged. I"ve not pumped with the engine, but Reliance did have it up and running a few years back. The truck runs and drives well, but does need new tires and the carburetor will have to be adjusted for lower altitude if it is used at lower elevations. I have quite a few more photos, and a video of the truck running and driving. It has a Colorado title and is ready to roll!
