1924 U.S. Fire Apparatus Pumper

Up for auction as Bill reduces his collection of interesting vehicles is a rare antique fire truck manufactured by the U.S. Fire Apparatus Company of Wilmington, Delaware, with 742 ORIGINAL MILES!!! This pumper served the small borough of New Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, for decades. The truck was removed from service over 60 years ago and languished in a garage. Bill Kline (570-294-1053) purchased the truck and did a painstaking restoration. The truck runs well on its ORIGINAL engine and has been featured in firemen"s parades and conventions in Schuylkill County, PA, for many years, always receiving compliments and trophies!!!
STRONG POINTS:1. Clear Pennsylvania title2. An unbelievable 742 ORIGINAL MILES!!!3. Original engine (with an alternator upgrade) runs strong!4. Original tires and wheels still do the job!5. Lots of period correct equipment6. Electric Starter and can be hand cranked to start the engine7. Working headlights and taillight (and brake light!)8. Licensed, insured, and roadworthy truck9. Older restoration still looks GREAT!10. Bell and hand-cranked siren go with the truck!11. Truck still has its original rotary pump, but the condition is unknown - Bill never tried the pump.
