Down sizing and moving, this is hard for me to sell im the 3rd owner , The first was millvalle pa the second was port jefferson ohio I bought it in 1981, This truck has a half page arttical about it in ed hass book on ahrens fox , The truck is mostly original , Has the original hercules yxc motor and running gear, the trucks runs very well, lights and electical system works brakes works . the radiator does not leak the seat is in good shape no rips or tears The truck drives very well the tires are old but in very good shape . The pump still works but i havent pumped with it in 20 years . The truck was used to fight a house fire in 1986 . For 25 years on chrismas eve i would put 4 thousand christmas lights on it and transported santa clause all around the city of findlay , The old truck never let me down , the truck only has 3500 miles on it and will cruse nicely at 45 mph, The truck has the original lights and siren and bell, Also included will be a matching wood extension ladder and roof ladder , The truck was repainted in 1951 by port jefferson and the paint is flaking off , the chrome headlights are in excellent condition, Now the bad Port jefferson took the hose bed and made it into a water tank , I got from curt nepper the original blue prints of the hose bed so it could be changed back to original. It still has the original ladder racks hose racks and pike pole holder . I also have a copy of the the original spec sheet ,have the original sale literature, and motors manual , the truck is 21 ft long 78 inches wide and 7 1/2 ft tall and weighs between 8-10 thousand lbs The truck is located in findlay ohio your welcome to come look at it and here it run, Sorry but no test drive because of insurance and because people just want to drive it but not interested in buying it .I WILL NOT SHIP if you want it shipped you will have to make all the arrangements$500 down threw paypall the balance do in CASH No buyers from out of country . I do have a title for the truck, I also know where the sister truck is to this and can be bought for parts , I also have a extra herculese yxc motor im going to list tomorrow for sale on ebay .
