This is a rare 1937 international DS-35 Truck , This DS35 has its original six cylinder engine, 4 speed trans, auxiliary 2 speed gearbox and 2 speed rear end ... so you would have a high and low in each gear AND a second high and low with the rear end, it takes some talent when pulling a Heavy Load
I got this truck from the original owners family ...It was bought new in Oakland California in 1936-37 it was purchased by the owners of Busch Ranch in Pleasanton California. It was registered and used there from 1937 until about 1970 when it was taken off the highway and used around the ranch for another 10 or 15 years before being parked . it was last run about 10 to 15 years ago when it was moved north and stored in a covered carport just outside of Auburn California .
This truck is all original, with original paint and complete Drive train, The tires date back to at least the 1950s if not earlier and the wheels are the originals with split locking rings... they all hold air just fine and only the passenger front needs to be aired up every few months. The body is super solid ... Front fenders have some dents and a couple tears at the edge of the passenger front , grill has some lower damage that could be straightened .. see photos..( I do body and paint for a living so I could Weld up and straighten both front fenders and put in Black primer if wanted for a good deal.)
The interior is still original and complete, The dash gauges are like brand new and still 100% original, rest of the dash is complete, the Cowl vent opens and closes as it should, windshield mechanism is still complete but is very sticky and needs more work to fully open, windshield frame does have some rusty spots in the lower corners, Seat frame and Springs are included floor has surface rust but still very solid !
this truck is very complete but it is missing a few items to get it running again, missing starter and radiator... which were taken for another truck about 10 years ago... The transmission, two speed auxiliary and two speed rear end DO shift in and out of gear !
truck has a clear California title on non-op so no back fees are involved also have copies of registration from back in 1967 and 1969 ! and have the last California black plates from when it was registered in the 60s that will also be included
