Ideal to use for parades, car shows, promotions or special events. The truck has a 1986 Chev 1 ton chassis with a 1946 Chev cab and front sheet metal. The 350 truck engine has low miles (said to be about 300) and was put together with a new high volume oil pump, new flywheel, high flow aluminum water pump, new header gaskets, Elderbrock carburetor, new belts and hoses, HEI distributor with new cap, rotor and plugs. The truck also has an aluminum PRC radiator, electric fan and a cooler on TH 400 transmission. The truck has a full set of new 10 ply radial tires. Cab is equipped with heater/air conditioning and defrosters. The rear ramp bed has self contained pull out ramps and a Warn electric winch with a remote control for easy loading. The bed is also equipped with a rear trailer hitch receiver and wired with a trailer brake controller. The truck has had a lot of work but could still use some TLC and additional work such as on the brakes. The truck was donated to the towing museum for display a couple years ago but is being auctioned off due to space constraints. Truck is located in Chattanooga, TN and is sold as is, where is.
