1950 Ford F3 Truck. Body was built by Boyertown Auto Body Inc, in Boyertown PA. One of 2500 built between 1948 thru 1952.It was termed a STEP & SERVE. Most likely built for the US postal serve. This van is a running, driving and currently registered in California. I have spent many hours and dollars to bring it back to its original condition.Replaced 6 volt system to 12 volt, completely gone thru the brakes, new master cylinder, new brake hoses, new wheel cylinders. Removed gas tank and boiled out. All gauges work. Speedometer works New door latches. Motor runs great and has good compression. New generator, voltage regulator. Rebuilt carb. Radiator was boiled out and pressure tested. The entire truck is solid. It does have some minor rust on outside panels but the body, chassis and floor are rust free. This truck was stored in Van Nuys California since 1975. Although this truck appears to be a milk truck, that is just what previous owner painted it up as.This is a SUPER RARE vehicle. The brush guard in front is original to the boyertown company and is complete and in excellent shape. It always starts right up and runs great. It has working turn signals flashers, headlights (with high beam) and dash lights work.
