This is a 1952 AUTOCAR tow truck wrecker - 330 GOLDEN COMET Engine.
Body completely stripped of all paint. Epoxy primed, top coated in base clear. All hand painted lettering to the exact original company name of the 50"s.
Refurbished complete air brake system. Replaced old split rims with 22 inch tubeless wheels and all new tires.
Many parts chromed or powder coated = thousands spent on that process.
Engine completely rebuilt, including: Custom cylinder liners made, custom pistons, custom camshaft.
Align honed. Crank turned and balanced. Rods blue printed and balanced. Head milled, all valves replaced and ground. Rotating assembly balanced, including flywheel, pressure plate and clutch. All new gaskets. Oil pump blueprinted and coated. All done by a NASCAR engine builder.
This truck has less than 500 miles since restored. Everything is complete and operational.
It has lived inside and needs to find a new home in a collection or find an old truck lover.
The truck will need to be shipped on an equipment trailer. Shipping is the responsibility of the purchaser.
