Here is an awesome original 1957 900 series Seagrave fire truck. Originally built for Tampa fire dept this truck features the 906cu V12 Engine design. This truck runs like a locomotive and sounds like one! the truck has packed away in the compartments the original equipment, fittings, and spare parts - including siren components. It still has the rear fire fighter bench seat in place as well as new hose for the hose reels . there is so much history to this truck and is a testament to the fire service of this generation - a true veteran and steel servant to its citizens and their safety. What it needs is mostly minor TLC - it has no rust rot but it does have surface rust on the steel decking and running boards - needs a muffler as it is straight exhaust coming off the manifold (which is awesome with the V12). The truck will effortlessly run 60-65 down the highway and is a quick start with a quick choke. The V12 has amazing torque and pulls thru high gears at low speed. (as per ebay rules lights, and emergency equipment are removed/disabled). Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
