This firetruck has COOL written all over it! Originally delivered to the Harbor, Oregon, Fire District, it was subsequently moved to the Winchuck District, and then retired from active service. It is based on a Ford F-800 chassis, with Western States Fire Apparatus. It has a 332 Ford industrial engine and 2-speed rear end with 5 forward speeds. It has about a 250 gallon storage tank, with twin spooled hoses. It also sports a PTO pump system on the front bumper for either hydrant or storage water source. There are rolls and rolls of hose, boots, oxygen tanks and backpacks, air mask systems, it"s almost like ready to code -3! The siren splits your ears, and the light bar and spot lights all work. We don"t know about the pumps, everything is there but untested. Could be personal fire protection, collector piece or business promotion! Starts right up and runs good - I drove it about 20 miles the other night - power steering works, clutch and brakes are fine. Paint looks good for it"s age and use - we polished it up and it shines - Check out the pics! $500 deposit with Paypal within 24 hours of end of auction; Balance due with 7 days of end of auction by Cashiers Check.
