1959 Ford F350 Ramp Truck
A lot of pictures, please look at them all. This is a solid old truck and a pleasure to drive. Starts easy hot or cold. Any questions feel free to ask.
Early 1970s Ford 460 Bored and Stroked I was told to a 512 cu. in. but I have no proof, it has a smooth idle and is not choppy in its power range at all. D2 heads, has a 1972 Thunderbird oil pan maybe a thunderjet? Whatever it is it runs strong, doesn"t smoke tick or knock, revvs very smooth engine is obviously well balanced, has excellent torque, more than enough horsepower. Unloaded you have to be light on the pedal as to not spin all four rear tires entering traffic, posi traction corners excellent, there is no locker or welded bs. C6 Transmission is also very strong and well built, shifts firm, never has any issues even hot and loaded down shifts great holds strong.
Truck has approximately 20,000 local light miles since being assembled into what it is now.
The floorboards are solid, the interior is very nice and sturdy. Heater gets hot and keeps ya warm good, wipers work as they should, all lights do what they are supposed to.
Winch is an old trusty Warn model and I have all of the stuff for it, it works as it should as well. Cool era specific Winch, looks good functions great.
16 wheels (updated) and 16 radial tires that have been replaced within the last 20k, probably 50% or so remaining.
Exhaust has a nice sound and can be flipped (held with wire) underneath the winch to be dumped shorter (louder) or directed to the sidepipes (where it is right now).
B&M Shifter
Tach works, holds excellent oil pressure (see pictures), speedometer works and temp gauge works. The oil pressure and temp gauges are Stewart Warner Vintage Gauges, work great still.
Ramps are also included as pictured, makes it easy to load up a lowered car or modified body car.
If I had a 59 Ford Car I would never sell this truck, looks cool just sitting there, even better hauling a hot rod down the road :)
Im short on storage, only reason I am selling. It is turn key get in and go oldschool cool. Clean title in hand.
