1960 MACK B42 T Model Day Cab Truck Amazing Condition Very Rare
For sale is a COMPLETE 1960 B Model MACK Truck!
This is a family owned truck for MANY years. Around 30 Years ago we parked it inside, put a sheet of plastic over it, and it’s been there since.
We would imagine a little TLC, fresh Gas, etc would start this beauty right up.
The Current Owner (my father) says this;
‘It is a B42 gas truck, 401 6 cyl.
It has a 10 speed duplex transmission
We may have misplaced title decades ago
It has very low mileage, check speedometer it is right
It has been stored inside since 1980, same spot same owner
We have owned this truck since the early 70"s
It is a one owner, from pennsylvania
It was repainted by us in 1980
It should run, has not been started since 80"s, but has been stored inside.
This is a rare low mileage example of a b model mack, there is not many left in this conditon.’
(My Father has own MANY of a B Mack in his day, and his word is very true)
Everything appears to be there and correct on the truck. Engine, transmission, ignition, gauges, EVERYTHING is there. This truck is complete.
The paint only has a nice layer of dust and dirt on it from storage. A simple carful cleaning would probably bring back the red Paint.
The only rust appears on one door corner (picture included). The body and frame are straight and in amazing condition. Front bumper has a dent (see picture)
The interior needs NOTHING.
The speedometer says 168406, and that appears very correct.
All doors, glass, and hinges work great. The tires all appear amazing.
The truck is not running, and hasn’t ran in 30 years. But it is free, and with some new fluids and gas, I see this starting right up.
The only thing not included in the auction are the extra fenders and what not. This auction is for the truck only.
The truck itself is located in Southern Maryland, miles from me. If you would like to see this, an appointment will be necessary. There is access to a forklift and for a truck for easy transport off of our site.
