The place where I work want to send this 1962 Mack B61 to the scrap.
I really hate to see it gone after many years of service, so I thought maybe somebody around Omaha, NE. can buy it for what they probably are gonna get from the Metal Recycle.
The truck is actually in Council Bluffs, IA.
Parts for this kind of trucks are becoming real hard to find,so if somebody around this area wants to buy it, here"s your chance.
Motor runs but has a loud knock, transmission, axles, hydraulic for the picker and the picker works.
You"ll be responsible to towed and will have to arrange transportation from where it is to your place.
I don"t know too much about the history of the truck, worked for many years in our log yard.

He told me that they"re going to scrap this truck and I ask for a week before they do, so somebody can have a chance to buy it and get some parts out of it.
The company had a quoted price of $2300.00 for the weight of the truck & the loader, so that"s what I ask.
