The possibilities are endless with these things. This 1964 GMC Grumman Olson Metro Kurbmaster Kurbside Step Van served the local area as fleet service truck. While proudly serving our community this vehicle was well loved and maintained by its owner/operator. The vehicle was in the process of a tune up to be used as a fun truck when a health issue became priority.
The fuel tank, fuel pump, and air cleaner were removed to be cleaned and the vehicle was to be tuned up. Many of the tune up parts have been installed and the others are new in box inside the van. All parts are neatly organized and labeled for reinstall. Although the vehicle was recently registered, running, and driving. It is not currently on road, running, and driving. The vehicle comes with an open NY transferable registration, making it easy to be put back on the road for use.
The all aluminum Grumman body is very clean with amazing Patina. The underbody (frame/axles)of the vehicle is very solid with no rust outs. The drivers diamond plate step is the only part of the vehicle that will need to be patched or replaced (refer to picture) The Grumman body is mounted over a 1964 GMC frame and drivetrain, having a straight 6 cylinder engine, standard transmission, and dual wheel rear axle. The drivetrain is completely freed up including, the engine, axles, and brakes. All door, hatches, latches, and sliding windows are in working order. 3/4 of the front glass will need to be replaced. Grumman truck bodies have been in service for many years having a strong following and all parts to this vehicle can be obtained.
