Selling my 1965 International Loadstar 1600 General Fire truck. I believe the engine is a 304 V-8 that runs great. Starts right up and does not burn oil. The transmission is a 4 speed manual with a 2 speed electric axel that works fine. The pump is a Waterous 300gpm and the tank hold 500 gallons. booster reel works fine and does have a pre-connect on the hose bed. fire hose comes with it however it is fire hose that failed hose testing from a local department. Has about 300 feet of misc types of 2 1/2 hose and 300 feet of 1 3/4. Pump works perfectly fine and is easy to operate. I bought this 10 years ago in Bourbon MO out of a barn and restored it myself. Truck was yellow and I sanded it down and painted red. No rust was on the body and no body putty was added. All lights work. Does have back up lights with a back up alarm. Hard suction in great condition with the proper adapters. I have drafted with this truck. No Primer. Tanks has been cleaned/sanded/ and commercial paint coated the entire inside. All valves work. Truck has been in many parades. Tires are New. The rear rims have been replaced with traditional ones. Got rid of the split rims. Comes with ladder and extinguishers, axes, pike pole, Indian pack, and attic ladder. The Deck gun on top is not mine and is just for display and IS NOT included with the truck. Booster reel is 100 foot and the rewind motor works fine. Has a working Q siren with red light that also works. The only three things wrong with this truck is the fuel gauge does not work, needs a headliner, and does not have and emergency brake. However I do have a brake lock that can be put on. Driver seat in great condition. Does have a heater but never tried it. Has a 2 barrel holley carb and Power Steering. Brakes are all NEW. Selling truck as-is. Local pick-up only. Can be driven however long distance I would flatbed it due to top speed of 55mph. I live 20 miles south of St. Louis in Imperial 63052 Can be checked out and pumped if you like before bidding.
