Great old truck in very nice shape. This truck was originally sold to the Lansing, Michigan airport as a crash truck. It is equipped with two pumps, a John Bean high pressure pump with two high pressure hose reels with guns, and a 750 gpm centrifugal pump. It has a 500 gallon water tank we believe. Could be as much as 750 gallons. Tank may have some pinholes according to the fire department that owned it previously.
Truck is also equipped with four wheel drive and a very large mechanical winch. The cabinet behind the cab is empty, it originally housed purple K tanks for fighting aircraft fires.
We were told the brakes didn"t work but they worked fine for us after adding some fluid, we drove it out through the mountains with no problems. We would recommend a service and inspection of the brakes before extensive driving, we have not inspected them. Per EBay policy all lights have been removed but go with the truck.
Truck is sold as is where is with no warranties express or implied. We require a Paypal transfer of $500 within 48 hours of the close of the auction.
