Selling a 1969 Autocar Vintage Log Truck with Extension Log Trailer. 1960"s log trucks are very rare to find now complete and running like this one. This log truck is now considered a vintage antique log truck from the 1960"s. This log truck was stored in 2011 due to illness of the logging truck owner/operator. Owner ran and started it each day for years after 2011, and kept it parked outside at home. This log truck was a reliable, daily running commercial log truck until owner"s health and retirement forced it to be parked. This log truck is complete in every way. It is equipped with a Cummins engine; but I cannot give you lots of mechanical details due to the fact, I was not in the logging industry. It was understood to me by the previous owner, that this truck is a good and reliable truck and ready to be used anytime for logging service. The only detraction that I can tell, which it is priced accordingly based on overall condition is the cab body around the driver for a 1960"s log truck. For example, the hood itself is clean and has little to no rust inside and out and around both fenders. Going around the cab body, it has pockets of rust here and there, especially on the lower half of the cab body. I deducted $5000.00 from the offering price for the log truck here, so a person who is experienced in body and paint; could potentially bring this vintage log truck back to its original glory days as a vintage antique log truck for truck shows and events and get terrific value buying the truck and trailer in return. This truck could be put into a commercial logging service fleet quite easily, just depends on what your plans are for this truck, whether to make it a show truck or drive it commercially. It is priced with both options in mind for the buyer. This can be run and operated as-is right now, but I wanted to let you know the cosmetics aspect of the truck for the time being.
