1969 Peterbilt 288TA
When God Bilt her back in 1969, he sent her to deliver lumber in Bend, Oregon. She worked there as a delivery rig until the lumber company got sold in 1989. In 1990 she took on a new life living on a central Oregon cattle ranch. She worked as a ranch truck until 2010 when the owners upgraded to a newer model. Because of the sentimental bond, she was stored indoors and used very little once the new truck showed up.
You will not find a more pristine, original unrestored old Pete on this planet. She runs and drives absolutely AWESOME! We are not saying she is perfect. We are saying other than tires and some lose wires and one cracked window she is CHERRY! NO ROT, NO RUST, ALL ORIGINAL. We just replaced the batteries, the alternator and the starter. Watch the video, you will get the idea. She has the original Cummings 270hp turbo diesel and a 4x4 Brownie Trans.
