1970 Chevrolet c50 flatbed truck. 350 v8, 4 speed transmission with a 2 speed rear. Boyertown Body Works flatbed with stake sides that can be removed. Runs and drives. The truck spent most of it"s life delivering building materials and once it retired in 2002 it spent it"s years hauling hay. The truck was on the road with farm tags until 2016, so it is not inspected since PA doesn"t require inspection on farm vehicles. The truck shows 89,xxx miles which may be correct, however it is a 5 digit odometer so it may have rolled over at some point. Cab and front end are in fair shape with typical rust. The frame is a little bit scaly but not rotted through. The flatbed does have some wear and tear and will require new wood for the deck, I will upload pictures shortly. The 9r22.5 tires are basically new tread wise and would cost more than the starting bid of this truck if you were to buy them new! When I went to use the truck in the beginning of the 2018 season the brake pedal went to the floor, so I assume a line is blown somewhere. I am the 4th owner and it never left a 10 mile radius of ownership since it was new. GVWR is 17,000. This would be a great farm truck, project truck, or even a parts truck since these trucks are getting harder to find. Due to the brake issue, I would recommend towing it to it"s new home.
