Built in 1969 but titled 1970, A64BT All Aluminum Autocar ,This was a working truck when i bought it about 15 years ago, and driven very little since, I am the second owner and bought from a farmer/grain dealer that was 85 years old,he bought it brand new, he also told me it only had around 40,000 miles on a rebuild. It"s about 99% original, I put the aluminum wheels on the steering axle & installed Autocar power steering to replace the air assist steering that was not working. The drive train is all original and i have the build sheet from the factory to verify it. It"s powered by a NTC-335 Cummins with a 15 speed Road Ranger with overdrive, rears are SLHD, This truck is in very good shape & has always been kept in the building. I have the original tires & spoke wheels from the front axle and they will go with it. Theirs lot"s of other things that will go with the truck, Lot"s of Autocar books, the original owners manual & operator"s manual, A motor manual for the Cummins and truck, plus other books and sew on patches, an Autocar watch fob and numerous other trinkets related to Autocar. The cab is in good shape ,good headliner ,steering wheel not all cracked up,floor mats are good ,heater works fine,seats are good etc. New battery"s and block heater,good rubber, has a PTO and wet line, this truck could be put to work today.
