You are viewing a 1971 GMC car hauler. I was told when the truck was purchased that the bed is what is known as a Texas Bed. The truck is a two car hauler. The top winch pulls on the first vehicle and the stinger apparatus tows the second. The ramps on the bed will lie flat also. And I had a longer stinger made to act as a boom (see photo). My Father and I purchased this truck in 1978 with 38,000 miles on it. We used the truck around the farm and my hobby of cars. I am the second owner. The paint is original and the rockers show rust. There are a couple of dings in the cab. The engine was rebuilt in the mid 90"s. The truck is ready for anything. It runs and drives fine. Winning bidder to pickup truck within 7 days.
