I´m selling my 1972 original race car hauler. I bought the truck from Mr. Moser, USA back in 2011 and spent the next few years restoring the truck with new interior and paint. The truck has been brought back to original colors. The truck has been stored inside since resto and not been driven more than approx 300 miles.
I have spent 9000 dollars alone on the interior. Lots of insulation and sound proofing under the high quality leather and fabric.
The new remote winch and extra battary package is only modern additions to the truck. Truck is in super condition - motor had top end rebuilt recently and runs perfectly with no unusual use of oil, leaks etc. New exhaust with headers - great sounding sideepipes. Runs and drives flawless. Car passed inspection with no problems
History I have from previus owner:
The truck was originally bought by a gentleman named Pick Pickering who at that time used the truck to race locally and also raced a few Nascar Winston Cup races. He fared fairly well, he only owned the truck a few years till he sold it to Larry hunter, who is a well known local racer who won numerous races and championships locally. He also raced a few Winston Cup races as well but never quite had the funding to race at that level. Larry owned it for about 9 years and then sold it to Bob Redell who raced late models locally at Colorado National Speedway. Bob had it a few years then sold it to Jerry Dennison. We don"t know much about bob he wasn"t really a stand out in the local scene. Jerry and his family are local drag racers, mainly just bracket racers, they have a (67?) Mustang they call The Quarter Horse. Llast i have seen it race, it ran a 10.60 quarter mile pass down the drag strip. I have a few pictures of it I will keep trying to find and will send to you when i find them. They then sold it to us, Gary moser. We have used it for our stock cars to race locally and also raced an IMCA modified locally and raced a series called the BST tour we have owned it for 11 years we got one locally championship and 8 top ten seasons in points since we owned it.
