I have for sale a 1972 Ford L8000 Commercial Truck which was used in the line of duty in heavy hauling of Trailers and various commercial coaches. I do not have all of the precise specifications at present but will shortly. What I can tell you is that it has a new engine cover, or hood. I also has low mileage and there is no doubt the Cat C13 3208 Diesel Engine has no more than 100k. It also has a new radiator still in the box, and a complete set of new replacement belts. It was involved in an accident but the motor and transmission were unaffected. It is a strong running machine and sustained minor frame damage. You would have the option of repairing whatever damage there is to the frame which is minimal as it is very sturdy and thick. Otherwise the vehicle could be utilized for parts. I"m confident howeber that this truck would run strong again if it was finished since the motor and transmission are intact in the truck. We are asking $6,900 but are willing to consider serious offers

It has a new shroud or hood, and also a new radiator still in the box. I also have all new belts for it. The motor is a cat C13 3208 Model, and has little mileage on it. In fact, it could have no more than 100K miles at the most. Any way, it is not in perfect condition but there are not major mechanical problems with it. It just so happened that father time ran out on my dad before he had a chance to put it back together and get the frame repaired.” |
