Up for auction is a very nice 1972 Ford L900 pumper fire truck. This has a 534 v8 gas engine with a 5 speed manual tranny in front of a 2 speed rear axle and The truck has air brakes. tires all have atleast 40% tread remaining. This truck starts, runs, drives and stops very well. The cab and frame are RUST FREE (the frame still has red paint on it) but the running boards on the rear body have some minor rust that could be cleaned up very easily. The truck was built by Maxim fire apparatus and sold by Har-Rob Fire Apparatus in Syracuse NY. This is a beautiful 44 year old truck, with 27,760 actual miles and still purrs like the day it was built. I have not tried to pump water with it but I was told that the pump works fine. This truck was traded in at an equipment dealer and I purchased it from them and drove it home. I am a licensed used car dealer and I can provide a in-transit plate if you are from outside of Vermont and wish to drive it home, The truck is located in Roxbury Vermont, (central Vt) about 50 miles from Burlington Airport and I have a guy that will meet you there and bring you to my place of business for $100 cash, I am only 15 miles from the Randolph Amtrak staion and I can meet you there with the truck. I will store the truck free for up to 30 days if you need time to pick it up or arrange shipping. I have taken many pictures of the truck and tried to show it well but if yuo have any questions please feel free to email me or call 802-485-4920 and ask for Reggie PS: This truck will be sold with a previus registration and a Vermont dealer report of sale / Bill of sale becase Vt does not title any vehicle over 15 years old
