1973 Chevrolet Spartan Cabover Fire Truck / Water Tender. Retired from Fire Service about ten years ago and owned and maintained by me for private fire protection on my property. It has a very strong Detroit Diesel and Allison Automatic and the PTO driven pump works great. There"s some rust on the body due to being stored mostly outside since I have had it. I looked inside the tank and don"t see any signs of rust inside the tank. With ongoing TLC, this truck should last a long time. Its a great truck for private property like a ranch, vineyard or small private community since it has super short wheelbase and holds 1500 gallons of water. We successfully used it in the Basin Fire eight years ago for structure protection. It is currently registered non-op and will need to be hauled to its destination at the buyers expense. I can help arrange transportation. Also includes folding tank (may need repair to liner) and there is an 1-1/2 hard line on a hose reel in one of the compartments. Also includes foam system which I have never used but have no doubt was working when I purchased it.
