this is a 1973 gmc 9500. it has a 671 2 stroke Detroit. it has a 9 speed eaton fuller trans. it has Hendrickson walking beam suspension with Rockwell rearends. don"t remember the ratio at the moment. the suspension is in good shape. the truck has brand new brakes front and both rears. maybe 300 miles at most on the brakes. the truck is a good tuff truck. tires aren"t new but they aren"t bald or falling apart. truck is ready to load and haul right now. needs only tags and insurance. I was using the truck until about 6 months ago. the tags just expired. the truck used to be a dump truck. I put a bed on it and hauled logs on it. i hauled 3-4 loads a week weighing 63000 lbs for 8 months until i bought a bigger truck. ill be honest - this truck isn"t a speedy truck. that"s its biggest problem. for the money - this truck is an awesome truck!! needs nothing but tags insurance and a driver that likes to shift and hold it to the floor lol. i bought this truck as a stepping stone to a bigger truck - it served its purpose and now needs to find a new owner. it always starts and always runs good. and always stops good.
