1976 Chevy Ambulance C-30 85449 actual miles. Body is in very good condition for age. 454, turbo 400 transmission, AC, dual alternators (ambulance package upgrade). Dual spotlights. New dual exhaust from manifolds back. rear tires are very nice. Ambulance unit is in outstanding condition with no leaks in storage compartments. HVAC. Has potential for so many different uses.I purchased the vehicle with the plan of converting it to a flatbed dump. . I no longer have a need for a dump vehicle, so the truck needs to go to a new home. It ran well before the gas was stolen out of it. I have not tried to start it since then because the gas caps were stolen along with the gas, so I"m sure that rain has gotten into the tanks. Starting price is the reserve, so any bid could win it. I am happy to assist with shipping for the winning bidder. Selling to fund Napco 4x4 project.
Pros: Body condition is great, with everything in original condition. Carpet is all there, seats are in very nice condition. Factory buckets with center console. Doors open and close like new. Newer brakes.
Cons: As mentioned, gas was stolen out of it, and the thief left the gas caps off. This was not noticed right away. The tanks should be flushed before trying to start the truck. I will attempt to do this prior to auction ending. No guaranties. Dual spotlights, but passenger side is missing parts. front tires are weather checked.
Possible uses. ...camper, storage, flat bed, dump bed, duck blind, or of course you could continue to use as an ambulance... Race track etc.
