This 1977 Ford 900 Fire Truck is in great shape inside and out. I have the original books, and service receipts with this truck. This truck came out of Eaton Rapids Fire Department just a couple of years ago. This truck is in exceptional condition for the age. You will not find many in this good of shape!
This is a pumper unit, and the 1000 gallon tank was upgraded to a poly tank some time ago. The tires on this truck are like new, it runs and drives excellent. The lights, siren, and air horn also work. This truck has been well maintained, and I could see it being put back to use, or at least being shown in a few parades! There are a couple if items that are not working like the CB radio, and cab lift pump has a little leak. I was told that the pump and valves are all in good shape but have not run any water through the truck as it has been winterized already.
It is being sold as-is with no warranty implied or expressed. Anyone is welcome to come and look at this truck before bidding. We do reserve the right to end this auction as the truck is for sale locally. The buyer is responsible for shipping or pick-up, and we do ask for a 500 dollar deposit within 24 hours of the auction ending.
