CHECK OUT THIS RARE CLASSIC 1979 IH 4300 EAGLE, THIS TRUCK IS REAL SURVIOR. NOT OFTEN DOES A TRUCK COME UP FOR SALE AS UNIQUE AS THIS ONE. PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING. I am listing this vehicle to sale on E-bay as well as here locally, for a very good friend of mine, Mr. Mike Rickard of Sacramento, Ky. Mike and his twin brother Mark, have owned and restored many IH trucks over the years, many of their trucks have been featured in magazines, truck shows, etc. They both are truly dedicated to the IH class of trucks, and are very professional owner operators pulling flat beds as their choice of moving freight. Mike bought this truck from the DAVIS BROS. farms out of Indiana about 3 years, the truck had been setting for about 10 years with the engine down with cracked heads. (please see the picture of Pull"n weight magazine July 2016 featuring DAVIS BROS. and their beautiful operation with trucks) for whatever reason they decided not to fix this truck. Mike bought it and trailered it home to bring her back to her former glory. And I wish all that are interested in this beautiful truck could see it in person, it is a real beauty. And this is not a 100,000.00 restoration, but a lot of blood, sweat, tears, patience, and many, many hard hours of labor, and several thousands of dollars went into building this old girl to ride the highways and byways once again. Hopefully this part will perk up your attention to why this one is rare. How many times have your wife, girlfriend, mother, sister, daughter tell you, you spend to much time with your truck, and they maybe a little jealous because they can"t share your passion, because they can"t drive your ride. ...well they can drive this one,,,because she came out of the factory with a 5 speed Allision Automatic, with a 8V92 Detroit Diesel sound all of its own, with a great big turbocharger setting on top of that big old supercharger, just waiting to rumble again on 4 lanes. Mike replace the original engine with a Military surplus 8V92 445HP, the Allision went to Clark Diesel, Henderson, Ky to have whatever it needed to spin the driveshafts again. As you may know Military engines are built to gov"t specifications, he had to remove the 24 volt starter and alternator, the engine does have a jake brake, but the 24 volt coils/solenoids will have to be replaced with 12 volt. Hopefully the pictures will tell the rest of the story on how much time and money went into this beautiful ride. The AC has several pieces replaced, but has not been gassed up yet, it will need new drive tires soon, and the rear suspension sets on spring ride. Mike will answer all calls to his cell phone 270-499-0660 he DOES NOT text or e-mail, he will return all calls. Please don"t hesitate to ask any and all questions you might have in seeking info for this vehicle. Mike requires 1000.00 dollars deposit within 72 hours of purchase. He would prefer bank wired transfer for deposit, and cash on final payment, truck has clear title. Truck is for sale locally. THE MILES ON ODOMETER ARE SUPPOSE TO BE ACTUAL MILES ON THIS TRUCK. 186 in WB, 3:73 rear gears, PSteering, AM/FM/8track/clock, dual exhaust, full instruments, air slide 5th Wh,
