Truck is a good truck, it has some age on it yes but it is sized right for a light heavy or back up unit to a larger fleet company. Tows T/T no problem heavy straight trucks etc. wheelbase is right to darn near sit sideways on the interstate or busy road/secondary roads for a hard pulls and recoveries. 1800lbs of IH weights on front bumper with fuel tank 125 gal in first toolbox (has never gelled on us) with driver it sits right at 14800+- on the steer. Single axle with pusher (non steerable/controls inside cab) air free spools to the winches and Trebron spikes bite well with 17500+- on drive axle. It is what it is, hard puller that sits good and is maneuverable and reliable. Rubber is good all the way around, springs were replace within last couple years front and rear. Any questions 319-480-1637 call or text. Would really make a cool old truck if someone could take the time to convert it to buds with aluminum, body is in good shape other than the holes in toolbox doors in the corners easy fix. Thanks
Reserve is 40,000 my opinion it"s a damn good truck for that when most everything these days is 80- 100 and up. I get that"s newer equipment but old school doesn"t break down either plus the ol girl is kind of cool, gets compliments and comments at every truck stop it goes to.
