this truck was auctioned off from Sierra county New Mexico fire dept. I was told it is fully functional but was auctioned off due to age. the odometer read 17,000 miles and I am not sure if it is original or has been flipped once. considering how little these trucks get used and how good it runs miles may be original but i cant guarantee that. Engine is a strong Ford 534 cubic inch with a 5 speed manual trans it runs great and is very roadworthy. I drove it 3 hours to get it home. The tires had a bit of damage but they seem to ride fine and it doesn"t seem to affect roadworthiness. I invited anyone interested to come check it out prior to bidding. this truck has a large tank on it approx. 700 gallons and I have an additional tank that holds 650 gallons available if someone wanted to use it to haul water. I was also told there is an opportunity to rent out truck in cases of large fires on a daily/weekly basis although I haven"t looked further into that.
