With our only son going off to college this fall we have decided to liquidate all 3 Kenworth trucks and our Talbert lowboy. We would love to sell all 4 vehicles to one buyer if anyone is interested.
This is an extremely rare opportunity to acquire one of the very few remaining Original unrestored Kenworth civilian trucks. She started life as a tandem axle daycab in West Virginia. Between 1982-83 the last owner bought the truck and used it sparingly until 2005. That year, he removed the fifth wheel, added the crane, flatbed, new 24 Alcoa wheels, virgin tires all around, moved the original air ride driver"s seat to the passenger side and bought a new 2005 style air ride seat from Kenworth. The old static passenger seat was sold many years ago and is not available sadly. The truck continued to be stored inside his personal hangar until I acquired it last year. As you scroll down to review our pictures you"ll also see the 59 page Build Sheet displayed. This should answer all your questions about how the truck is equipped. Everything is the same except for those things mentioned above.
I would be willing to remove the crane and or flatbed if you don"t want them. I"ll even install a Holland 4" fifth wheel if you want. This truck would be fantastic as a boom truck (as-is), oil field truck, dump truck, roll back, wrecker, or add a sleeper and higher gears to run up and down the road! Starts up immediately every time and runs perfectly. Power steering is awesome compared to our 1962 W923 also selling on Ebay right now! AC is all there but would need to be serviced. Can"t say enough about how tight everything is, doors, clutch pedal, shifting, window cranks, basically everywhere you look it"s plain amazing. Truly like going back in time.
