Im re-listing this truck for the 3rd and final time! The first buyer did contact me, but was full of empty promises of coming to get the truck, then quit answering the phone all together. The second buyer never contacted me or would respond to emails once I accepted his offer. Please do not bid and waste my time if you are not a serious buyer. I don"t have time for games and it is not free by any means to list items on here. If you are serious on making an offer for the truck, please message me first to show me you are a serious buyer. I just don"t want any more time or money wasted on non paying bidders that have no intentions of going through on the purchase from get go.Thank you.
1980 White Road Boss 2, 300 Big cam 2 cummins, RTO9513 13 speed, P/S, spring suspension with PTO, 480,432 Actual Miles, 152 Inch Wheelbase, SQHD 4.33 Rears, has A/C but does not work, Rear tires are fair, but will need steer tires soon. I am the 3rd owner of the truck. I bought this truck almost 3 years ago. We use to have a fleet of Road Boss trucks back in the day and I was going to restore it to look like one of ours. I looked long and hard to come up with this one. There are not to many left out there that aren"t just total Junk. The reason I am selling is I work long hours and just don"t have the time or energy for any projects, and I hate to see the old truck just setting there when it can either be doing some work for someone, or getting fixed up. The engine runs very sweet, does not smoke a lick, no blow-by or oil leaks. I was told it had a new turbo right before I bought it. The transmission shifts good, clutch feels good, truck stops as it should, all the lights and gauges work, tachometer will need a cable soon, it is a little jumpy at times. It runs straight down the road, steering is tight and does not roam all over the road. The interior is in pretty good shape for 1980, the dash could use a little fixing up and a new Driver-side seat. The door panels, and headliner about as perfect as you will find. The cab is very solid with no Rust in it, paint is old and needs to be repainted. The driver side door has a crack in it up near the window, it might be kind of hard to see in the pics. I have a good complete driver side door and passenger side door I will let go with the truck. I had plans of putting an air ride cut off suspension and I will sell it also separately if the buyer of the truck is interested in it for $1500.00 It came from a 1998 International, pilot hub wheels with gd LP 22.5 rubber, good brakes and drums. The old truck is not perfect, but is a solid old truck that is mechanically sound. It would make a great farm truck, or restoration project. There aren"t many old Road Bosses left out there and if you want one to restore, this one is perfect. If you have any questions, feel free to email me.
