Purchased new in 1981, body refurbished in 2001. Body has rust on the cab, pump panel, and under rear compartments. Stainless steel tank is cracked. 29,000 miles, 3500 hours.
Pump works well, but prime function is not up to par. Original wedge style brakes on front axle, updated s cam style on rear. 8v71 (370 hp) and HT 740 transmission work well.
Was a reserve pumper for the last 4 years. No Jake brake, DOT inspection expired, pump certification expired.
