One Owner, ground up, fully restored and professionally built 82 F-350 4x4. Total production of 4x4 F-350s is believed to be about 500, with most of these going to the US Military. This truck was purchased new at Fairway Ford in Placentia, California. It was a reliable daily truck until 1999, when the transformation began that you see here. The truck was completely disassembled, and painted the original color inside and out. A full suspension lift was added, about 6. The body to frame clearance is stock. The wheels are custom made Weld Wheels, 16.5 dia., x 17. Tires are Dick Cepek, 38x15.50R16.5 LT. The Monster look that resulted is largely due to the wheel and tire combination. The interior was redone in custom tweed with real wood accents. When this truck was purchased, it had dealer applied painted pin striping, and these colors were used for the custom striping that highlights The engine is the original 400 M, rebuilt with about 1500 miles on it. The gas tanks have been replaced with new, the A/C is cold, and the truck is immaculate throughout. It has custom electric steps on both sides to make entry easy for anyone. Close to $60,000 was spent building this truck, and it has never been off road since completion.
The odometer reads 27238. The actual mileage prior to being modified is over 100,000. The mileage since completion is less than 1500 miles. The truck has been garaged for the past 18 years, and has never had any rust or collision damage ever.
The truck has a new exhaust system and is ready to go anywhere, from your local show to running over Prius"s on your way to chase alligators through the swamp.
