1982 359 factory day Cab 113. One owner. Factory fiberglass hood, long wheels base. Very Rare and almost impossible to find.
This truck was ordered at the Newark California factory in 1982 and spent it’s life around 80 miles from the factory. It was used to move owners own equipment from job to job and that is all it did. Thus, the truck set, parked inside his equipment building most of it’s life.
459k original miles. Owner had a Cummins big cam 400 recon installed, 7,000 miles on new motor. 9 speed LL, heavy rear ends 3:70 gears on Heavy Duty Air trac – not air leaf.
The truck is completely re-furbished from front to back. New batteries, alternator and many other new items.
Front end, brakes, transmission, rears, drive line. New 24.5 rubber all the way around. Hub seals, pinions, u-joints, air bags, factory airbag dump valve etc. Full tandem aluminum gravel guard rear fenders.
Big core heavy radiator, power steering, A/C, 3 phase jakes, great interior, great glass, leather seats, heavy duty John Deere tractor stereo with weather band and all of the needed modern iPod etc plug ins.
Truck was ordered with factory single line PTO for end dump with spring ride hydraulic tank and everything works as it should, sliding tilt lock fifth wheel, pins for locking included.
Pull-pins was set up for removal from end dump mode to flat bed operation. Factory Low boy ramps for RGN trailers. Very versatile piece of equipment.
Fiberglass hood is spotless with no cracks. All new trim such as Peterbilt flaps front and rear, Original OEM headlight bezels and marker lamps, Peterbilt stainless steel hub caps and lug nut covers. This truck is really nice and done right! Drives down the road real nice and it’s tight. Headlights and fog lights have been upgraded to Halogen lights for bright night driving. New side marker and tail lamps, wipers and the list goes on. The original 20 inch steering wheel comes with the truck if a person wants it.
