UNBELIEVABLE! LIKE NEW! Retired Brush Truck from small town fire department. This is a 1983 Chevy K30, 1-ton dually, 4x4 cab and chassis, with a custom-built brush truck body. The pumps, tank and hoses have all been removed, and a wood floor has been installed in the bed. The truck is equipped with a 454ci gas engine, mated to a 3 speed manual transmission w/granny low and a manual transfer case. Having only 9,500 miles on the truck, everything works perfectly, as it should. Tires are like new, and a new battery was installed in 2015. Lights and sirens work, and the truck is equipped with an engine mounted, 4000 Watt, 115/230V generator. Absolutely NO RUST on the cab/chassis, and only some light rust inside the storage compartments of the service body, as shown in pix. Truck is located in Port Byron, IL. Nearest airport is Moline, IL (MLI - Quad City Int"l). Feel free to come take a look.
