This Truck would be an invaluable piece of equipment for someone in the DJ, or Event Planning business. It literally stops traffic, and is well known throughout NYC, Williamsburg, Harlem, Bed-Stuy, Park Slope and beyond. Own a piece of Hip Hop culture, created by some of the most prolific, and legendary Urban Artists in America today. It was origionally a U.S. Mail Truck. It is a 1984 Chevy 350, V8, 5.7 liter, gas engine with automatic transmission. The transmission is rebuilt, and the engine still has great power. It has always been regularly maintained with oil changes twice a year, chassis lube, radiator flush, etc. Replacement parts are cheap and repairs are easy to do. A new Manifold, for example cost less than $450.- including parts and labor. The Windshield can be replaced for about $200.-.Most of the smaller parts have already been replaced, such as the Master Cylinder, Alternator, Battery, Radiator, Muffler, etc. It passed inspection in October 2015. The Tires are Michelin and still have more than50% tread left. They cost $150.- each new. The rear Cargo hold is 6 feet high, and is 6 feet wide x 10 feet long. It has a roll-up Door in the back and a sliding door going to the Cab. All the doors lock very securely, it is safe to leave items inside without fear of someone breaking in.The overall size of the Truck is quite convenient. It can hold an enormous amount of stuff, and still fits very easily in a regular sized parking spot.
