Up for auction is a very nice FIRE CAT GRUMMAN IN WORKING ORDER MAY BE A FEW LEAKS I WAS TOLD I NEVER TESTED IT SELLING AS IS 1984 Ford 8000 fire engine that was just taken out of service by the city of Marquette city fire dept in the u.p. of Michigan who was the 2nd owner of the truck,the date issued was 7 15 1986 who recently replaced it with a newer truck . The truck has like 60k actual miles and runs and drives like new top speed like 65 mph , it is powered by a 3208 Caterpillar with like 8 inch exth. and a Allison pretty sure 5 speed automatic that shifts strong , Truck also has air brakes. Very little rust on this truck there was rust repair on the drivers side front wheel opening they did a great job the passerger side will in a lil rust repair as in pix you can see rubber flare on drivers side & the passerger side shinny chrome , and it has always been parked in a heated station. I drove it about 100 miles and it rolls along @ 60 = 65 mph and handles very nicely, I believe this truck could be drive anywhere without a worry but it is 35 years old .tires are fair to good she will smoke when first fire it up but clears up .the bummer part is someone took the firecat and gurmman and the stay back 500 feet emblems off before I got it .ALL THE LIGHTS WORK NO SIRIEN ITS A REAL HEAD TURNER EVERY WHERE YOU GO IT GETS THUMS UP PEOPLE ASKING YOU ALL SORT OF STUFF IT WILL EVEN STOP TRIFFIC SOMETIMES WITH NO LIGHTS ON LOL If you have any questions ,please feel free to email me or call dan @ 906 201 2824 I know the truck inside and out she is a BEAUTY THE AIR HORNS WORK SUPER LOUD
