1985 Ford Ambulance, built by Road Rescue in Minnesota.
This is one beautiful classic that was retired from active back up Fire Department service earlier this year. It has been garaged it"s whole life and it shows. The upholstery is like new and the paint is as well. Runs & drives great!
460 V8 with Automatic transmission. It still has the gurney, and some equipment. It is carbureted. It runs and drives great. It is still in original condition.
There are power inverters for both 110 and 12v, with numerous outlets inside and out. Multiple locking bins and plenty of storage. 2 fuel tanks.
New shocks all around. All decals have been removed since the pictures were taken. I have included a couple of quick pics showing the box without decals. The tires have great tread & no dry rot- the right rear outer tire has some vertical splits, so it will need replaced sometime in the near future. I have no problem replacing both outer rear tires to close a fair deal.
This vehicle has A/C, but it is not presently blowing cold.
This will make the perfect service vehicle for a handyman, contractor, plumber, electrician. All compartments are lined & lighted & the inside of the compartment doors are diamond tread, as shown.
As with any 31 year old classic, please do not expect perfection. There are minor blemishes, but I challenge you to find one of the same vintage in this condition. (minor crack in paint at hood latch location, one missing running light, one cracked side light lens, etc.) Notice there is no trailer hitch- she has not been worked hard.
