PLEASE READ FULLY BEFORE ASKING ANY QUESTIONS. I know the list is long but it is very thorough and will answer almost every question.
This is a 1985 ford F700 wrecker tow truck. It is a complete tow truck that you could tow anything that this truck was built to tow. It has every accessory you could want to be able to tow just about anything you could want. It will drive anywhere. Purrs like a kitten and can be driven across country without a second thought. The list of features and accessories is a long one so I will list everything 1 by 1. Can be put into service immediately needs nothing!
ENGINE, transmission and running gear:
370 4 V gas motor, like I said runs fantastic and would not hesitate to go across country in it. No leaks, misses or noises. Has 120k on the clock.
Has powersteering and A/C that blows ice cold. The only thing on the truck that does not work currently is the heat. Possibly the heater core as its bypassed and dont really need it here in the desert.5sp transmission also in fantastic condition.Practically new Air brakes all around.2 new batteries that are mounted behind the push bumper5 new tires and 1 very good condition plus 2 Alcoa wheels up front.NON 2 spd rear end1 good spare tire
BODY:
Zero rust ever, was a desert truck. Fresh painted 2 months agoNew 3 month old push bumper Both the back and top if bed has been Rhino linedLots of locking storage cabinets that is filled with tools that all lock and have all keys.
LIFT:
Bed is a Century 501 502Underlift is a Formula 6000The boom has just be rebuilt with all new houses and seals, has not been used since (3 weeks ago).
