12/1986 Peterbilt 6X6
This is a work horse, it"s a converted cement truck with a large 13 X 4 inch steel frame.
Never wrecked and no damage. She has an all-aluminum cab. The 051232.0 miles are actual miles. This Cummins engine is not even broke-in yet.
Every thing works as it should except for a couple of dash gauge light bulbs and about 3 months ago when I had a stronger transmission installed the speedometer stopped working. (the output shaft broke on the original transmission), I also had new engine Jak-brake installed about the same time. I also had a new fuel injector pump installed. New brake air pods installed in the rear drive axles and a new engine water pump, a new quieter muffler installed. The steering is tight and she drives and tracks straight. New front spring shackles and bushing were just installed and about a year ago I had all new bushings and a new beam installed in the rear suspension.
The two steer tires are new. 6 rear tires are new with about 400 miles on them, the other two rears have about 30% ware. No re-caps.
The water tank system is powered by a Ford 226 gas engine connected to a 5x3in pump witch produces about 60 psi. The 226 was just rebuilt with a new standard crank, cam, rods, 10k over pistons and new valves and a starter motor.
I have some of the water sprayers off and in storage because I only used this truck to delver water to water tanks high-up in the mountains, the plug-caps are in the cab witch I remove for freezing weather.
Air ride seat system has been replaced but not the seat it-self.
I have an extra set of rear fenders that I will include with the sale along with any extra spare parts I have.
If your looking for a work horse, for a good price, ...you found it. ...My loss is your gain,
