The City of Willoughby will make available for public auction, one 1986 GMC Brigadier Heavy Rescue utility vehicle.

This was a city Fire Department Heavy Rescue vehicle. It was used as a Command/Utility vehicle that carried various equipment needed for unusual circumstances. This vehicle has low mileage but would have a disproportionate number of hours on the engine as Fire Department vehicles spend much of their active time running on location. It is in running condition and has been maintained throughout its service life. The body and undercarriage are structurally sound. It has a rooftop air conditioner which was operational when taken out of service some time ago but it has not been tested recently. Everything else remaining on the vehicle is operational. Tires have about over 50% life remaining.
This vehicle has been deemed unfit for fire service and cannot be place back into fire service. This does not reflect any mechanical deficiencies.

Payment: The successful bidder will immediately deposit with the City ten percent (10%) of the bid price in cashier’s check, certified check or money order.
The balance of the bid price shall be paid by cashier’s check, certified check or money order within ten (10) days of the notification.
The winning bidder will be responsible for removing the item from City property within two (2) weeks. Pick up only.
