You are viewing a very nice 1986 Peterbilt, Model 359 with a Cat 3406B 425 HP, 13 speed, air leaf suspension. I purchased this tractor in Texas this past year. It was driven home to Indiana, drove and handled perfectly. I purchased this tractor with the intention of restoring it into a working show truck. Things have changed as they sometimes do and now I have decided to sell it. I looked all over the place and drove to several locations across the U.S. to look at 359 Peterbilts that were suppose to be real nice trucks. They were all to much money for the quality of truck. This is a working truck and is exactly what I was looking for. The frame is very clean & tight, no cracks or loose bolts and no rust! Body is also rust free, no cracks. Doors are tight, no stress cracks, front fenders are not cracked, hood is in great shape, opens and closes as it should, roof has no leaks and no rust. Interior is very nice, dash has no cracks. Great truck to work today and restore later. Wheels are aluminum inside and out. Engine is equipped with a retarder (engine brake). This is a Great truck for the money!! I was told the engine was rebuilt by Caterpillar 4 or 5 years ago and has low miles since. Maybe 150,000. Reason for selling this truck is I am retiring and if it doesn"t sell I will most likely go forward with my original plan.
